	Jollybops 2009 Students from K-6 attended The Jollybops Science show in Term 2. This show provided students opportunities to learn about Science through exciting, stimulating and interactive science demonstrations. The shows were aimed at increasing children's knowledge and understanding of scientific perspectives. All students and teachers enjoyed the show and look forward to another show next year. Overall it was an interesting and fun day.

	Manumurra Jamberoo - Year 6 On Tuesday the 17th. March, 2009 Year 6 went on an excursion to the Minnamurra Rainforest and Jamberoo.The field excursion to Minnamurra Rainforest was an educational and real-life experience that allowed students to consolidate their knowledge and understanding about rainforests. Year 6 also went to the Jamberoo Theme Park. The students went on many water and dry rides offered at the action park. Year 6 most enjoyed goingon The Taipan and the Mountain Toboggan.

	Year 1 Taronga Zoo Visit Science and Technology lessons were based on the topics ‘living and non-living things' and ‘life cycles' provided the opportunity for Year 1 students, teachers, support teachers and parent helpers to have an interesting Taronga Zoo experience in Term 2. Students were pleased to see the rain stop in time for their first steps on the track to discover the different living animals in the world. They appreciated the opportunity to touch and learn about such animals as snakes, frogs and possums. We all had a great time and were able to make it back to school without getting too wet.
	Year 12 Graduation 2008 Al Faisal College celebrated the graduation in a ceremony that was attended by parents, friends, VIP guests and fellow peers. It was a joyous event which allowed students to celebrate the conclusion of their schooling career. During this emotional day, certificates, prizes, and trophies were awarded to praise and acknowledge the achievement of students during their final year at school.
