  • I want to enrol my child, how do I go about it?

    You will need to come in to the college and complete an application form. Once completed, students will be contacted to attend an interview/entrance test. Your child will be offered/declined a position, depending on the results of the test and whether vacancies are available. If your child passes the interview/entrance exam, but there are no vacancies, he/she will be placed on a waiting list.

  • What facilities are available at the school?

    Al Faisal College has facilities that meet the requirements of the NSW Board of Studies. In addition to the large classrooms, there are 3 Science Labs, 2 Computer Labs, with new computers, 2 Design and Technology Workshops, 2 Visual Arts Labs, Food Technology Kitchen and Music Room. There are 2 playgrounds, one is undercover. A new canteen and a uniform shop.

  • What does the cost involved for enrolling my child at Al Faisal College?

    There are no enrolment fees, or bond that needs to be paid. Fees in 2009 vary from $280 per term for kindergarten to $460 per term for year 12. Parents need to ensure that fees are paid a term in advance to guarantee enrolment for the following school term. Tuition fees are non refundable. In year 7, a payment of $150 per student for the book bond is payable -it is refundable at the end of year 12 on the condition that all text books are returned in good condition.

  • What subjects does Al Faisal College offer?

    Al Faisal College follows the curriculum of the NSW Board of Studies. In addition to the subjects endorsed by the Board of Studies, the college offers Islamic Education which is based on teaching students about values. These values educate them to become productive and good citizens in the Australian community. Also to equip them with specific skills that will support their learning throughout their lives.

  • What do I do if my child is going overseas?

    You will need to put a letter in writing addressed to the principal. The letter must clearly state the name of the child/ren, class/es and dates of leave and return. The Principal will then approve or reject the travel on the basis of length of absence required. If the student is going for a lengthy time (for more than 3 weeks), then your child might be at the risk of repeating the class the following year.

  • I want to withdraw my child, what do I do?

    You will need to put a letter in writing addressed to the principal. The letter must clearly state the name of the child/ren, class/es, the last day of enrolment and where the child is being transferred to (for register purposes).
